How many people died at Woodstock99?

The Woodstock ’99 music festivals, commonly known as Woodstock 1999, took place in Rome, New York, from July 22 to July 25, 1999. It was the second sizable music festival to try to imitate the original Woodstock festival from 1969 after Woodstock ’94. It took place in upstate New York, similar to previous festivals, but this time at the old Griffiss Air Force Base, about 100 miles (160 km) from the original Woodstock location. Over the course of four days, there were about 400,000 attendees.

Most people think of the serenity and love that characterized the original 1969 festival when they hear the word “Woodstock.” But regrettably, Woodstock 99, the festival’s third and final outing, which took place during an infamous July weekend at a former air force base in Rome, New York, failed to live up to expectations.
